Redcat Gold Project

The Redcat Project is a grass roots exploration target located approximately 42 miles west of Winnemucca and 30 miles southwest of the Sleeper Mine in Humboldt County, Nevada. The property consists of 130 federal lode mining claims staked on land administered by the BLM, and is 100% by Otis.

Property is situated in the Red Butte Mining District in the southern foothills of the Jackson Mountains. Antimony production has come out of the district from a stibnite vein that also contained 0.10 opt Au and 22 opt Ag. The exploration target is high-grade bonanza veins similar to the Sleeper Mine located 30 miles to the northeast.

The property is situated along the Northern Nevada Rift, a structural zone that hosts Newmont's Midas deposit as well as the Mule Canyon and Sleeper gold/silver deposits. The property is hosted within the Happy Creek Volcanic series along with a sedimentary sequence of sandstone, shale, conglomerate, and andesite, all of which have been strongly altered. Two northeast-trending high-angle fault zones occur on the property. The area is distinguished by the intersection of a major NE-trending airphoto lineament with a broad 1-mile-wide, NNE trending shear zone containing Au/Ag mineralization.

The majority of the mineralization occurs within a NNE-trending shear zone. The shear zone contains quartz veins, quartz stockworks, and strongly altered quartz-adularia zones. Some jasperoid occurs on the property. Six of twenty samples were initially collected from the Redcat property contain over 400 ppb Au and 9 samples contain over 1,000 ppm As. Five follow-up samples contain over 400 ppb Au to a maximum of 1,620 ppb Au and up to 8.3 opt Ag, all within a NE trend that is parallel to sub-parallel to the main Shawnee Creek photo lineament.

The high arsenic, antimony, copper, and lead are similar to a suite of pathfinder elements seen at the Sleeper Mine. The structural intersection of the NNE-trending structure and several NE-trending photo lineaments form a viable target.
